9th Annual Eggs-cavation!!!

It’s that time of year for Garden Grove’s 9th annual “Eggs-cavation” event on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Atlantis Play Center. Atlantis Play Center is located at 13630 Atlantis Way in Garden Grove Park. Only 300 tickets for egg hunt participants are available.

In addition to an egg hunt, activities at the event include bounce houses, carnival games, arts and crafts, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. The egg hunts begin at 11:45 a.m., and take place by the following age groups:

1. 3 to 4 years old - 11:45 a.m.– Noon
2. 5 to 6 years old - 12:15 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
3. 7 to 8 years old - 12:45 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
4. 9 to 10 years old - 1:15 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

Candy hunts for 2-year-olds and under will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Ticket prices are $7 for children, ages 3 to 10, participating in the egg hunt, and $2 for spectators, ages 11 and up. Only cash or credit cards are accepted. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Ticket sales for the Eggs-cavation begin Monday, March 27, 2017, until quantities run out. Tickets may be purchased at the Recreation Counter, located on the 1st floor of Garden Grove City Hall, at 11222 Acacia Parkway. To order by phone, or for more information, call (714) 741-5200.
