Deadline: $500 Student Scholarship Opportunity

Eligibility:
· Be a current 12th grade student.
· Be enrolled in a public high school in Garden Grove Unified School District.
· Have a GPA of 2.85 or above.
· Provide their sealed high school transcripts, along with their application and essay.
· Complete the WD of GGCOC scholarship application.
· Submit an essay (as described below).
· Provide two letters of praise from persons other than family members; one of which must be from one of student’s teachers, counselors or administrators.

Essay Requirements:
· Must be typed, double spaced and be 1,000 - 1,200 words.
· Educational goals.
· Community service accomplishments.
· Career path vision.
· Financial impact of this scholarship, if awarded.
