McDonald's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Please join us for a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for McDonald’s rebuilt restaurant at 12051 Valley View in Garden Grove. Entertainment and activities include a fire truck, police vehicle, photo booth, face painting, local musicians and more! Serving complimentary Chicken McNuggets and McDonald’s fresh baked cookies.
FUN FACTS:
The Widdicombe Family opened their first McDonald’s in March 1957 on Harbor and Lampson in Garden Grove. This restaurant is #2817, and there are now 36,258 restaurants in 119 countries. It initially opened on June 17, 1974, and was TOTALLY rebuilt for the grand opening August 7th. It has been owned and operated by the Widdicombe family since 1974. The Widdicombes were the first McDonald's owners in Orange County and the fifth owners in the world. They employ over 300 people in Garden Grove, including 55 at the Valley View Location.
