If you have a great idea or passion and want to know how to turn it into a business, then the Small Business Jump-Start is the workshop for you! Choosing the right small business to start -- one that will succeed – requires planning, creativity and hard work. You will get answers to questions like:

• Where are My Resources?
• Who is a reliable source for Information?
• How much capital will I need to launch?
• How will I know what I don’t know?
• What are my next steps?
• How do I create a plan?

The Small Business Jump-Start Workshop is facilitated by a Orange County Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Consultant who will provide an informative and interactive presentation on business essentials. The topics covered include but are not limited to:
• Being an Entrepreneur
• Business Planning
• Financing a Small Business
• Legal Forms of Organization
• Licensing and Permits

Throughout the workshop, our highly experienced consultant will assess participants' readiness for no-cost one-on-one consultation services to discuss start-up, growth and expansion plans. Staff will be available to make appointments with qualified business owners to meet with Orange County SBDC Consultants.
